JONATHAN CUMMING

AOHJonathan Cumming is currently a post-doctoral Research Associate working as part of the MUCM project at Durham University under direction from Michael Goldstein. Jonathan's current research is on the construction and analysis of multi-scale emulators.

Jonathan Cumming obtained his BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics (2002) and PhD in Statistics (2006) from Durham University.

His PhD research was funded by ETech and supported by the Smith Institute as a CASE Studentship and concerned the analysis of longitudinal clinical data. His thesis encompassed elements of data visualisation, variable selection and graphical modelling. He also spent 6 months working for David Wooff developing a computer application that allowed user interaction with a Bayesian Belief Network for the charity Scope.

His research interests to date include statistical computing and programming, variable and dimension reduction and graphical modelling.
