UNCERTAINTY IN COMPUTER MODELS
UCM stands for Uncertainty in Computer Models. These pages are being established as a result of additional funding being awarded to the MUCM group, part of which funding is to enable MUCM to provide a focus and services for the wider community of people active in this field. We are also building on the successful UCM2010 conference, which brought together many people with interests in computer model uncertainties.
The new UCM community initiative will in due course involve a variety of pages to inform and keep readers updated with activities we are undertaking to support the UCM community. We already have this dedicated UCM section on our MUCM website, through which we aim to provide information and services such as a regular news digest on our mailing list activity, a calendar of events etc.
We'd be interested to hear what you think would be useful.
The Uncertainty in Computer Models 2010 Conference took place at Kenwood Hall, Sheffield in July 2010. The next UCM Conference will be held in July 2012. Please check out our new UCM website.
