How to Register - REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

ONLINE You can register online by completing the online registration form and completing the booking/payment process through Sheffield University's on line shop.

ONLINE with separate PAYMENT You can register online by completing the online Registration Reservation Form. You will then be emailed a separate payment link to pass to your cardholder for processing, or you can download, complete and return the Payment Form and return with your cheque by post. Registrations will be held for 7 days pending receipt of payment.

DOWNLOAD Alternatively, you can download the Registration and Payment Form to complete and return by post with your cheque. Registrations will be held for 7 days pending receipt of payment form.

RESERVATIONS If you are waiting for confirmation of funding but wish to reserve a place, you can do so by emailing Jo Green and your place will be held for seven days pending payment. You will need to complete the online or downloadable registration and payment process within 7 days or your place will be released.

Student Registration
To qualify for student rates, you must be a full-time student at the time of the conference. Requests may be made for a confirmation letter from your college or university on headed paper giving the details of your course and your start and finish dates.
Visas & Letters of Invitation
If you are travelling to the conference from a country outside the EU, please check visa regulations before making any travel arrangements. If you need a letter of invitation for a visa application, then we will be happy to supply this after we have received full payment. To find out if you need a visa to visit the UK, please see the UK visa website.
We will not to supply an invitation letter to any delegate without registration and payment. Following registration and payment of associated fees a confirmation/receipt letter will be dispatched by email. Following this, applications for a letter of invitation should be requested and received no later than 1st June 2012 by email. A letter of invitation will be sent via email, however if you require a hard copy to be sent through the post, please request this specifically no later than 18th May 2012.
All conference delegates are responsible for their own travel and visa arrangements. The organisers of UCM2012 will not take any responsibility for travel or visa problems and cannot issue refunds should a visa application be refused.
Special Requirements
Please advise the conference organisers of any special dietary (including vegetarian) or physical requirements so that your needs can be accommodated.
Cancellations
Cancellations taking place:
more than 10 weeks prior to the conference will receive a full refund (less an admin charge of £40)
between 6 and 10 weeks prior to the conference will receive a 50% refund
between 4 and 6 weeks prior to the conference will receive a 25% refund
no refunds will be given for cancellations made 4 weeks or less prior to the conference
Substitute delegates will be accepted at any stage
Cancellation Of The Conference
The organisers reserve the right to cancel the conference in case of any unpredictable event.
Liability and Insurance
The conference cannot accept any liability for personal injuries or for loss or damage to property belonging to the delegates, either during, or as a result of the meeting. Please check the validity of your own personal insurance before travelling.
